Fintech & payments

Training built for fast-moving fintech, PSP, and MFB teams

Licensed fintechs, payment service providers, and microfinance banks move fast and handle sensitive financial data with lean teams. Training needs to fit into that pace without skipping the fraud and data-protection basics regulators expect.

Where fintech and MFB teams are exposed

  • Support and operations staff fielding BVN, OTP, and account-verification requests from customers, a prime target for social engineering.
  • Engineering and admin teams holding privileged access to production systems and customer financial data.
  • Fast onboarding and growth pressure that can leave new hires undertrained on phishing and fraud basics before they touch live systems.
  • Vendor and API integration risk, since many fintechs rely on third-party processors and need staff who ask the right security questions.
  • WhatsApp and SMS-based scams targeting both customers and staff who manage customer-facing channels.

NDPA and CBN-aligned expectations

Fintechs and MFBs sit under both NDPA data-protection obligations and CBN-aligned payment-sector expectations. We map training openly to both, flagging where a specific clause still needs verification against current regulator text.

Frequently asked questions

We are a small fintech team, is this too much for us?

All-Staff Core alone is about 100 minutes across 25 short modules, designed to fit around a lean team's schedule. You can add role-specific tracks only where you need them.

Do you cover vendor and API integration risk?

Yes, the Managers & Executives track includes a vendor and third-party risk module, and IT & Admins covers privileged-account and credential hygiene relevant to API and integration access.

Is onboarding training available for new hires mid-year?

Yes. New hires complete the full All-Staff Core track within their first 30 days regardless of which month they start, plus the relevant role-based add-on track.
